Summary

The Home Health Aide (HHA) is responsible for providing personal care and supportive services to clients in their place of residence, including private homes, assisted living facilities, or other approved settings. The Home Health Aide works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with the client's individualized Plan of Care.

The HHA assists clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promotes independence, maintains a safe and comfortable environment, observes and reports changes in the client's condition, and provides compassionate, respectful care. All services shall be performed in compliance with New Jersey regulations, agency policies, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
